Message from the President

Dear Scientists, Researchers and Health Professionals,

Molecular microbiology, genetics and microbiome sciences are increasingly occupying a central position in the diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive and personalized health approaches of contemporary medicine. From infectious diseases to chronic inflammatory processes, and from immune responses to metabolic disorders, molecular and microbiome-based knowledge is becoming an integral part of clinical decision-making across many fields.

As the Molecular Microbiology, Genetics and Microbiome Research Association, our fundamental objective is to support scientific research in these dynamic and rapidly evolving fields, to strengthen their integration with clinical practice, and to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration. The Association aims to be an inclusive scientific platform that brings together the perspectives of the basic sciences, the clinical sciences, biotechnology, epidemiology and public health.

We believe that scientific progress is possible only through high-quality data generation, an ethical research culture, institutional collaboration and continuous education. Accordingly, we aim to build a strong scientific network both in our country and internationally through training programmes, courses, workshops, symposia, congresses, joint research projects and publication activities.

The core motivation that has driven us throughout the establishment of our Association is to bring together researchers working in the fields of molecular microbiology, genetics and microbiome under a common roof, and to enhance the contribution of the scientific knowledge generated in these fields to both the academic world and clinical practice.

On this journey, we invite all scientists, academics, clinicians, researchers and health professionals from different disciplines to contribute to the work of our Association.

With the hope of building a stronger academic future through a culture of scientific productivity, collaboration and sharing.

Respectfully,

Prof. Dr. Ener Çağrı Dinleyici

Chair of the Provisional Board of Directors
